During the development of the Department, the main trends in the development of similar departments and centres in Europe and the world are followed, and the work is conformed to the standards of the leading European countries in terms of organization and quality.

In their work, the experts of the Department for Lifelong Learning are in constant contact with practice - with the directorates at the headquarters of the Ministry and the General Police Directorate, as well as with the police administrations, thus achieving the true purpose of their work, which is a high-quality and timely reaction to all perceived educational needs of the Ministry of the Interior.

The Department for Lifelong Learning carries out educational activities through specializations, professional training, professional development and police training.
